You Man The Island And The Cocaine And The Elegant Cars

Be warned for serious food porn.

(Camilla Åkrans for Numeró)

Currently drinking: Nothing. But I had a Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee before and it was so delicious.

Currently eating: Nothing. But I really want to be eating just about everything I've seen here. It all looks so mouthwateringly good.

Current grooving to: Bird noises outside my window.

Currently supposed to be doing: Probably reading The Merchant of Venice or studying for my math quiz.

Currently wearing on your feet: Nothing.

Currently looking forward to: SUMMER IN PARIS! I am counting the days.

Currently wanting: To be her.

(dripbook)

Currently amused by: Virtual card tossing, the table of condiments, and this bearded knit hat.

Current state of happiness: Pretty happy, mostly in a lazy and distracted way, and very happy that I got out early from rehearsal!

Current favorite song: Hm, this is difficult. Probably "Your New Twin Sized Bed" by Death Cab for Cutie, but that will probably change by the time I finish this entry.

From the Death Cab concert I went to in October. Unbelievably epic.

Current favorite musical artist: The Decemberists, Franz Ferdinand, Death Cab for Cutie. I haven't found any awesome new music in a while, any recommendations? I feel like you all have a decent grasp on my musical taste by now.

Current favorite meal: Tartines (baguette with butter and jam), café crème and fresh orange juice. Sorry for being such a Francophile.

Current favorite movie: Velvet Goldmine. My friends and I sort of created a little cult around it. Stellar glam rock outfits, a cameo by Brian Molko, Christian Bale in flared pants and eyeliner... perfection.

(screenshotworld)

Currently reading: The Virgin Suicides. Really good so far, reminds me of The Bell Jar a lot.

Currently hearing: "Hallelujah" cover by Rufus Wainwright. It's so pretty, but nothing beats Jeff Buckley. Leonard Cohen original, on the other hand, makes my ears bleed.

Current favorite person: Marc Jacobs, for sponsoring this exhibition. So excited! Somebody come with me!

Currently wearing: Old silk tank and sweatpants from my kickass female choir. Yes, we all got matching sweatpants. We're adorable.

Currently thinking about: Nothing, because "Time To Pretend" just came on and it's the perfect not-thinking-about-anything-and-just-bobbing-your-head-around song.

if you're not already into them, i highly recommend clout cult. i just saw them in concert and they were mesmerizing. they have a live painter come on stage with them and at the end of the show they auction off the painting. just a really good, feel good kind of band. favorite songs: washed your car, good god, take your medicine, your 8th birthday, and the ghost inside our house.

and i read somewhere on here that you're going to see the decemberists! they're so good live! where are you seeing them?

My dear, thanks for reminding me of what I'm missing.

I love trying new things. Every month my mother and I try a new restaurant.

mm, that food does look really good.

As for music, I don't know if you've already listened to them, but if you like The Decemberists you'd probably like Neutral Milk Hotel... They came first and basically all of the good aspects of The Decemberists come from Neutral Milk Hotel.
