This Year...

... I started my blog, fell in love with thrift shopping, got into my first (and second and third) high school show, drank my own glass of wine, bought a lot of clothes, got over a huge crush, developed a huge crush, wrote a lot of poetry, attended five concerts, played with sparklers, watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show many times over, dressed up in glam rock attire, took a lot of standardized tests, cut my hair short, made some great playlists, dated a friend, had one teacher I really loved, failed a test, got my braces off, lost a very close friend, got asked to prom, made my own clothes for the first time, realized that I might not hate Charles Dickens, discovered some amazing music, got a perfect score on my select choir audition for next year, was named junior editor of the literary magazine, saw Rent on Broadway on its closing day, realized why I love my best friends so dearly, and found inspiration in the most unexpected of places.

Vintage sweater, PacSun jeans, Target tank, boots from someplace in London, gifted ring, random rave shades

SCHOOL IS OUT.

Blaz(er)in'

There is something so completely perfect about an excellently tailored and cuffed blazer to top off an outfit. The double lapels give it a cool extra something.

I borrowed the blazer from my mom, and the tank as well - I absolutely love the colors and geometries of it.

Unfortunately, since she's planning on wearing the blazer for business purposes, I'm not allowed to wear it out of the house. Sniffle.
But that hasn't prevented me from becoming rather amorous toward it.

Target shorts, Forever 21 tank, Calvin Klein blazer, Kohl's gladiator sandals

Hell week has officially begun, and by that I am referring to sophomore final exams.
Luckily, I had no exams today so I had breakfast with some friends this morning and studied for my chemistry test, which I have tomorrow along with math.
Then comes English and French on Wednesday and gym on Thursday, and then... I am finished! Free! Most glorious summer vacation, here I come!

A few awesome ladies and I are ravaging the thrift store after school on Wednesday, so I'll hopefully have some sweet things to show you soon.
