I LEAVE TONIGHT. To get myself (and you all!) pumped up, here are some pictures from my first trip two Aprils ago.
The sunrise as our plane landed; my bedroom; the courtyard of our rented apartment; the street behind our building; the Seine; going under the Eiffel Tower on a bus; street signs on Île Saint-Louis; a university building; view of the city from Montmartre; Sacré-Cœur; "The Thinker" and "The Burghers of Calais" at Musée Rodin; outside the Louvre; a gorgeous storefront on Rue Dauphine.
I wish I could apologize for my endless blathering about Paris, but I can't. I'm too excited.
Just some housekeeping: I'm not bringing my laptop with me, but I have decided not to schedule any posts while I'm away. I will be back to the blog for real in about four weeks.
Thanks to internet cafés, I should definitely still be able to check out your blogs and to update on Twitter, so if you really miss me that much you can check me out there.

Paris just has so many faces, every time you go you'll see another one. So don't apologize ;) And have fun!!!
totally forgot: you're title can also be linked to Jim Morrison (in my opinion). He went to Paris in the last months of his life and died there. If you don't know him it's worth looking up once.
Also, pay a visit to Pere Lachaise, amazing for photos, looking up dead famous people or just for a quiet walk. (and say Hi to Jimbo if you go ;) )

AHHHHHHHHHH you're so lucky visiting france... i visited france once when i was really young (i'm 7 years old maybe) and i cant remember a single thing of memory in there!!!!!
