I Had A Dream I Stood Beneath An Orange Sky

If I haven't mentioned this yet, follow me on Bloglovin'! I will bake you some cookies!

(photos by zoren gold & minori murakami, aka mi-zo)

Currently drinking: Water!

Currently eating: Just finished a bowl of espresso chip ice cream. My primary vice.

Current grooving to: Orange Sky by Alexi Murdoch. So pretty. Really want to see him at Bowery Ballroom in April!

Currently supposed to be doing: Studying for my chemistry test. Bond angles are the bane of my existence.

Currently wearing on your feet: Nothing. Which might change soon because my house is freezing.

Currently looking forward to: The weekend. This has possibly felt like the longest week of my entire life.

Currently wanting: A high waisted light grey skirt to wear with everything. And to not epically fail my next Euro test.
And this pillow from Art Star.
Currently amused by: New Math by Craig Damrauer.

Current state of happiness: Pretty content, mostly because I got seven hours of sleep last night! More than I've slept in a while... I should really stop being an insomniac.

Current favorite song: The Blower's Daughter by Damien Rice. Ridiculous title, but it's absolutely gorgeous. Also, it's in the movie Closer which is one of my all time favorites.

Current favorite musical artist: Andrew Bird or The Decemberists or Death Cab For Cutie (perpetual).

Current favorite meal: Red velvet cupcakes.

Current favorite movie: American Beauty. Dying to watch it again.

Currently reading: Fight Club, On The Road, Timequake, Too Late The Phalarope.

Currently hearing: World Spins Madly On by The Weepies.

Current favorite person: Kurt Vonnegut.

Currently wearing: Thrifted silk shirt with sailboats on it (will do an outfit post soon, I promise!) and black Mango leggings.

Currently thinking about: Natasha Richardson. So unbelievably sad for Liam and her sons.

I was obsessed with this song when I heard it first, couple of years ago - it's just so unbelievably beautiful.
Funny you should mention it, 'cause for the last few days I've had a couple of Damien's tracks on repeat: Prague, Rootless Tree and Delicate (TV shows' favorite ;))

Hey! I am trying to add you (I've never added anyone but I figured it out and you are going to be the first!) but blogspot keeps popping up some weird error. I'm going to try one more time before I go to bed and then again in the morning. That is so sweet of you to add me too! Thanks so much and I will keep trying!

I got it! You are first blog I've added, and I'll follow you as well. : )

hello there :D

did you see my comment to you on the last post? i can't usually see a place to comment on your blog, so that's why i don't comment back to you. i love your blog though!! i think it's absolutely lovely.

i love american beauty, and kurt is one of my favorite people EVER. since i was very little he made me look at the world differently. i always find that people that love him are a little off, don't you? but "off" in a good way!

i'm also very sorry for natasha richardson's family...it's so sad.
