Just returned from partying with my friends.
It was slightly more low key than this.
We ate grilled things and watched Across The Universe, which never ceases to be amazing.
If you haven't seen the movie, at least watch this. It's my favorite scene.
The plot is kind of silly, but the songs are so chillingly beautiful, the title track especially.
The Beatles are a constant amazement to me.
"Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes, they call me on and on across the universe. Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box, they tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe."
I mean, how perfect is that?
It's possibly my favorite lyric ever written.
They're glad I approve.
I was feeling rather uninspired this week, not to mention incredibly sick for the past three days, but drinking endless cups of chamomile tea, listening to The Hazards of Love, and sifting through my favorite Sart photos has proved very uplifting.
I have to help paint scenery and stuff for my play in the morning, and then might watch Almost Famous and Saved!, two of my all time favorite movies, with my friend tomorrow night. Any exciting weekend plans?

Oh I lovee Across The Universe. It is the most amazing movie ever. And they're voices truly are spine-chilling. My favorite song is T.V. Carpio's version of I Wanna Hold Your Hand. That song is like a lullaby...

Oh boy literate me.
The parties I go to are all utterly low-key. and I'm nearly always the one over-dressed.
The Beatles are amazing, no doubt about it, and Across The Universe was a wonderful tribute, and rang true in so many ways for that era. The 60's were harder than people think they were...
I love The Beatles so much! I have across the universe, but it's not opened yet LOL my friends and I are supposed to get together to watch it.
What kills me is these sartorial ladies' shoe game! Those Miu Miu sequinned pumps and Luella shoues are killing me with envy.

AHH. I've just seen a face. SO. GOOD. Wouldn't it be great if you know, we hooked up with Jude and Max and went bowling and then went back to their apartment? But really. Let's do that. Anyway you're totally write about Beatles lyrics. They can just be utter perfection sometimes.

I've never seen that movie, but the scene is enchanting. Yeah, my birthday party!
I never party...I'm really boring. I listen to the Beatles everyday and I can never get enough of that movie. It's really different from other musicals. I'm thinking of just sleeping in and enjoying my days off this weekend. xxoxoxo
