For Auld Lang Syne, My Dear

I have been playing a lot of piano lately. By no means am I good at it, but it's always enjoyable. So much of my life is about trying to convey things through words, so playing music is a relaxing change.

I have also started wearing a watch again. It feels so old-fashioned to do so, but in the best possible way.

I felt like I was channeling Audrey Hepburn a little in this outfit.

Vintage Gap denim shirt, Forever 21 pants and flats, gifted watch

I am not normally the resolution-making type, but here are my two resolutions for the new year: write one poem every day, and learn how to knit. I will be spending New Year's Eve with almost all of my best friends (to the ones who will not be there, you will be dearly missed!), eating and dancing and relaxing and having a generally fantastic night. I hope you all have an amazing New Year's Eve!

Sounds like a fantastic way to go into the new year. Audrey-esque indeed!

I've actually been teaching myself guitar. I know what you mean about it being a relaxing change from having to convey things through words.

Love Grace.

piano is always a wonderful past-time. very fulfilling.

knitting is also, a great thing to do. i learned a few years ago and when you're in the mood to just sit and listen to music, knitting is a great thing to do with your hands. :)

Ohhh your setting yourself a high target.. Love denim shirt, especially by the piano. Can't explain why, I'm just weird like that :)

It would be mine

making only 2 resolutions is probably the best idea, those people who absurdly list 20 things to do will never accomplish anything

loving the audrey look here

What a beautiful watch! I've been tinkering with the idea of buying a new one in the near future. I do own a watch, but I can't read it, because it has no numbers on the dial.
